Niassa Districts Permanent Secretaries discuss public managment at Lago The Permanent

Secretaries from all 16 districts of Niassa Province began their first meeting this Friday (29th) in the municipality of Metangula, located in Lago District, Niassa Province. The two-day meeting, taking place on August 29 and 30, aims to align methodologies, share working tools, and strengthen capacities to improve public management across the province.

Bringing together high-level administrative and executive officials from the districts, the meeting provides an opportunity for managers to share experiences, identify common challenges, and draft an action plan. This initiative seeks to strengthen local governance and improve the implementation of public policies throughout the region.

Eduardo Isadora, Director of the Office of the State Secretary of Niassa, who officially opened the event, emphasized the importance of collaboration and synergy between the various districts in order to achieve sustainable and inclusive development.

“This meeting is aimed at aligning our work, sharing tools, and reinforcing capacities to improve public management,” stated Eduardo.

The meeting of Niassa’s district-level Permanent Secretaries concludes this Saturday and will include visits to tourist sites, health units, and other enterprises in Lago District. (Davide Muianga)
