Faculty member of Alberto Chipande college robbed in Pemba

 

On February 22, 2025, in the city of Pemba, Cabo Delgado, northern Mozambique, unidentified individuals attacked the residence of a faculty member from Alberto Chipande College.

According to colleagues of the victim, the incident took place during the night when the burglars broke into the house, stealing various items, including a computer, money, and other valuables.

The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was caught off guard by the criminal act, and the situation is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.

The Mozambique Republic Police (PRM) is leading the case, working to identify the perpetrators and clarify the details of the incident.

At this moment, there is no information on any suspects or the recovery of the stolen goods. The academic community has expressed concern over the increasing violence in the region and is awaiting further clarification on the matter. (Seven Mussa)
