A long line of cars has formed since early this Tuesday morning, starting from Namialo, in the Meconta district, to Anchilo, as it is impossible to reach the city of Nampula.
On the side of Nampula city, there are also many trucks and other types of vehicles, including those of some transport companies, which are unable to continue their journey.
The reason for this is that, at a certain point in the locality of Anchilo, the road is cut off. According to our sources, the blockage is caused by heavy rainfall due to Cyclone Jude, which has been affecting Nampula since the weekend.
On the ground, there is a sense of desperation. The journey is at a standstill, and the situation seems to be getting more tense as the rain continues.
