The Emprega
Jovens project has trained several young people in the Liúpo
district in various areas such as carpentry, cooking, livestock farming, and
others. The training programs were completed in the months of January and
February.
After completing the
courses, all graduates opened bank accounts in anticipation of receiving funds
to support the launch of their professional activities at home, based on the
skills they acquired during the training.
The entire process
was carried out, and the beneficiaries were organized into groups. The wait was
long, and for many, hope seemed to fade. However, as of last week, the funds
have started to be deposited into the young people's bank accounts.
The disbursements are
being made in phases, according to the organized groups. This marks the turn of
the first group/phase. In total, the graduates were divided into four groups,
comprising about 400 young people across all areas of training.
However, some members
of the first group have not yet received the funds, while others are still
unaware if the funds have been deposited, as they have not yet received their
bank cards.
Those
who have already received the funds have pledged to continue with the work they
were trained for, putting their newly acquired skills into practice. BP
