The Public Prosecutor’s Office alleges that women are part of the terrorists’ logistics.

In the village of Micimboa da Praia, a case was identified in which a woman regularly purchased food supplies and delivered them to terrorists. The same woman maintained direct contact with a member of the terrorist group.

Based on this single example, the Attorney General of the Republic, Américo Latela, speaking about the situation of terrorism in the north of the country this Wednesday (22) in Parliament, argued that women are part of the logistical network of ISIS members who have been operating for nearly 10 years.

Although he did not provide other examples of women involved in insurgent logistics, the Attorney General acknowledged that extortion on roads and forcing civilians to pay money are other forms of logistical support that sustain the terrorists.

What is publicly known is that insurgents are always accompanied by women, many of whom are wives or enslaved individuals who take care of them and their children. (Mozanorte)
