Amélia Paulino, a 22-year-old wheelchair user, resident in the neighborhood of Miralene, in the Municipality of Chiúre, province of Cabo Delgado, northern Mozambique, with her parents, is one of the many examples, in which she was allegedly abused by her teacher who in If you weren't interested.

Young Amélia comes from a poor family, but they made sure that, even with her mobility impairment, she had the privilege of attending school, and so it was, at least that young girl knows how to write and read.

Amélia saw her dreams regress, because she got involved with a man, who happens to be a teacher at one of the secondary schools in the District of Chiúre, where young Amélia became pregnant by that guy.

Three months into the pregnancy, the professor said that he couldn't admit Amélia was pregnant because he was afraid of his wife, and she, not confirming that information, sent it to her parents, where the family decided to call the man.

However, the matter should have been dealt with at the family level, but the man did not want to be present, and the case was taken to the local structure, where notification was made to the secondary school teacher, even so he was not present at the structure of the neighborhood and here, the matter was transferred to the PRM command in Chiúre in the Women and Children Care sector so that at least the man could treat that poor young Amélia with dignity, but even in that office the man showed the same behavior, of not wanting to support that girl during that period of pregnancy.

We all know that a woman, when she is pregnant, needs at least basic sustenance.  What the family wanted, but according to family members, the PRM took it lightly and not only opened a case to the prosecutor.

Arriving at the prosecutor's office with that case, young Amélia was simply told to go home and wait for the birth, then come and then go and register the baby because it is the only right that the prosecutor could guarantee for the baby that was in Amélia's womb. .

Once the family agreed, they went home to wait for Amélia to give birth to the child, and in mid-December 2024, Amélia gave birth, a boy, who is still one month old.

Since the birth of the baby, the professor has not yet arrived to see the child, the only thing the family can say is the name that, when Amélia gave birth, the family called the man who got her pregnant to give the news of the arrival from the baby to the world and the child's name was sent over the phone.

A month after the child was born, the family returned to the Chiúre district attorney's office to inform them that the child had already been born. To everyone's surprise, the man denied it and said it couldn't be requested over the phone, and he's right.

In Mozambique, to request a State employee or agent, notification is made from your sector, where the State employee or agent will be called and delivered the notification, which supposedly did not happen in that justice institution in the district of Chiúre.

Young Amélia was informed by that employee that she could go home and come the next day to take the notification, because the person who handles notification matters that day was not in the office, he was out working.

Young Amélia, who was accompanied by her uncle, ended up returning home, not knowing what to do with the baby who needs, OMO, DIAPER, who needs a lot of things besides his father's comfort.

"Mozanorte" spoke to Amélia and said he didn't know what to do for that man, because he has already gone through all the doors of justice but nothing is resolved, and she will raise that baby alone.  But what did the father want to do?

Amélia said she just wanted that man to recognize and consider the boy, to buy diapers, soap and other necessities for children.  (Celestino Carlos)
