The process of entrance examinations for technical and vocational education began nationwide today, January 14. At the Mártir Cipriano Polytechnic Institute of Nacuxa, in the district of Mossuril, Nampula Province in the north of the country, more than 500 candidates sat for exams in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, among other subjects.
The event took place at Triângulo Santa Maria Secondary School in Nacala-Porto, where a large turnout of candidates competing for different courses offered by the Mártir Cipriano Polytechnic Institute was observed.
The courses include Agriculture, Accounting, Civil Construction, Water and Food Analysis Laboratory, Aquaculture, Secretarial Studies, and Hospitality and Tourism. Special emphasis is given to candidates displaced by war, coming from the province of Cabo Delgado.
In this context, the examinations were conducted smoothly, with no incidents and no cases of academic fraud recorded. In fact, the candidates come from other provinces in the north and center, as well as some provinces in the south of the country. (Gabriel Cassimo)
