The Health Center in the Administrative Post of Meloco, Namuno District, has resumed operations this Monday (28th) after undergoing significant rehabilitation and expansion.
The newly renovated facility includes a Maternity block with a capacity of 10 beds for the same number of delivering mothers, a Hospital Waste Management Unit, and two blocks dedicated to Outpatient Care.
The center will now serve over 53,700 people residing in Meloco and neighboring areas.
The Administrator of Namuno, Lúcia Namashulua, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the population for the realization of the project, which addresses the growing demand for health services in Meloco.
The project was financed by the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and implemented by Medicus Mundi.
To ensure the infrastructure
