Bridge Over Messalo river in Cabo Delgado collapses. There is currently no road communication between Macomia and Miangaleua. The situation is described as complicated. At the moment, there is no land communication between the town of Macomia and the Muidumbe district in Cabo Delgado, northern Mozambique.
Reliable sources report that the
bridge over the Messalo River, which separates the villages of Miangaleua in Muidumbe
and Litamnda in Macomia, collapsed on Monday morning (17th) due to the heavy
rains that have been falling in the region in recent days.
This means that from Macomia, it is
now impossible to reach the districts of Mueda, Muidumbe, Mocímboa da Praia,
